Clio Bratina - GenLife Investment Bonds
We explore how award-winning investment bonds are an unrivalled estate planning vehicle empowering you with greater control to transfer wealth to the next generation with certainty and ease.
Investment bonds have come a long way and they are now are a powerful tool in estate planning, offering both financial growth and a tax-effective way to transfer wealth. They can help reduce the size of a taxable estate, as the bond can be owned outside of the estate or assigned to beneficiaries directly. Additionally, investment bonds can include features like binding beneficiary nominations, which allow assets to pass directly to beneficiaries upon death—bypassing probate and potentially reducing legal costs and delays. Their simplicity, combined with favorable tax treatment and flexible ownership structures, makes them a strategic option for those looking to preserve and transfer wealth efficiently.
